Where do refurbished servers and networking equipment come from?

We buy used and surplus IT hardware from organizations that have upgraded their systems as well as from leasing companies and manufacturer surplus. We do not buy damaged or salvage equipment. All refurbished servers and networking hardware sold by us, are guaranteed to be authentic OEM equipment that will perform like new

What does your refurbishing process entail?

Before a piece of IT hardware is accepted for sale as Certified Refurbished Hardware, it is subjected to rigorous testing to ensure it will meet our exacting standards. We clean, test, and reset every piece of equipment to its original factory settings. Minor repairs and cosmetic touch-ups are made as needed. Each component is tested multiple times throughout the refurbishment process, ensuring long-term performance and reliability for you.

What is the difference between your refurbished products and other used products I see online?

It’s important to remember that while all refurbished IT hardware can be considered “used equipment,” not all used equipment qualifies as refurbished hardware. Some IT hardware resellers will tell you that “used” equipment is the same thing as “refurbished” equipment, but this is rarely the case. Many resellers sell both “used” and “refurbished” equipment that has not been cleaned, tested or refurbished in any way.

All ICOMMS Certified Refurbished IT Hardware is audited to ensure that the model and serial number match, verified for authenticity, subjected to comprehensive diagnostic testing, repaired or upgraded as needed, thoroughly cleaned, cosmetically updated to look brand new, reset to OEM specifications, and subjected to initial QA inspection before being added to inventory and a final QA check before the product is shipped to the customer.
